How to Put On a Front Fastening Bra: A Quick, No-Fuss Guide

The basic method
Put the bra on like a jacket, cups facing outward, and bring it round to the front rather than reaching behind you. Line up the closure at the centre — hooks and eyes, or the two sides of a clasp — and fasten it while you can see exactly what you're doing. Once it's closed, rotate the band round so the closure sits at the front, then adjust the straps and settle the cups into place.

If the closure is a single clasp
Line up the two halves of the clasp before applying pressure — forcing it at an angle is what causes it to feel stiff or hard to close. A gentle squeeze straight on is usually all it needs.
If it's a hook-and-eye closure
Start with the bottom hook and work upward, the same as you would on a back closure bra. It's easier to see what you're doing at the front, so most people find this quicker once they're used to it, not slower.
